I ordered Maxwell DVD-R 100 pack and was very satisfied with the delivery and packaging. Box was not damaged but in good shape. Also, I have burned about 100 disks and had one failure. Hard to beat price and quality. Very Satisfied.

Delivered by FEDEX. Box was in great shape. No packing at all around cake boxes which were both broken, spindles broken, DVDs loose in box. SuperMedia immediately emailed me an RMA number and paid for return FEDEX shipping. Good company, nice disks, bad packing.

I have had excellent results using this media and found the pricing very competitive. However when packaged for shipping, the cake box container was not wrapped or protected within the larger shipping container. The bottom of the cake box arrived broken, the twist latches were broken of and the bottom several blank DVD's were damaged beyond use. I had an empty cake box, but that should not have been an issue to deal with.

The bottom part of the case that it comes in was severely broken and cracked. When I tried to pull it out of the box, the case came apart, and the top clear part came off with the cellophane wrap still intact. The bottom black part with the pole was cracked and broken. Let us see if the dvd-r's are still useful.

Poor packing of item in the shipping box resulted in a broken cake-box and scattered media. I fortunately had an empty cake-box to utilize for the new media storage but do not know at this time if there was any significant damage to the media from being beaten around in the box.

I'm always hesitant to review something in the first week of ownership. These discs are highly rated by other buyers and SuperMediaStore had an incredibly good sale so I bought some. So far I've used only 2 and both burned and operated as expected. The discs are manufactured in China by Ritek.

I've purchased Maxell disc in the past from electronic retail stores and have always had great success. Although I have only printed a couple of copies, it appears these disc are comparable.

NOTE: Could have packed more secure inside of shipping carton, cakebox was slightly damaged.

Because of problems I experienced with Verbatim DVD-R 16x recently, I thought I would try Maxell. So far no coasters, but from what I have read, it would be best when buying DVDs to stick to those made in either Japan or Taiwan. There is alot of junk out there being made in other countries. The discs arrived in good shape.

Maxell Gold DVD-R is the best media storage I've used. I've used it for several years exclusively. I get 100% "Good Burns" out of this product with extremely great guality as opposed to other brand products that have a % of "Bad Burns" in a case of 100DVDs with lesser quality.

In over three hundred burns (I'm on my fourth cake box now) I have yet to get a single coaster. Those that complain of coasters must be on a very old slow computer. If I may suggest, when burning I always set my burn speed to half the rated disc speed. On these 16X discs I set to 8X and never get a fail.

This is my first time ordering from this company. I will say that I'm impressed with the price and quality of this product. The only reason why I gave it a 3 on the delivery is because Fed Ex left my package wrapped in a plastic bag sitting next to my mail box. ANYONE could've taken it. I never knew that it was there until I picked it up thinking that a Neighbor put a trashbag next to my mailbox. Thank goodness I looked inside first.
