Review of Kodak DVD+R DL 8X 8.5GB Double Layer Media 200 Pack in Cake Box (50121)

First 3 DVDs failed and there was no reason to try further. Cannot say anything about the price, because a product that does not work is worthless. The good thing is the easy return, the bad one - loss of time: waiting for DVDs, sending them back, waiting for other DVDs.

This company has always delivered the correct product in a very timely manner. As for the Kodak dvd's the quality is very good and very consistant.As long as I have need of this type of product I will continue to purchase it from super media store. It is a very good site.

Top quality, this is my second order the first 50ct order, only had 1 coaster and that was my own fault! FAST Shipping! This order came with silver label, not the red and yellow that the last order came with.....it doesn't matter to me as long as the burning quality is there......will most certainly reorder when I run out again!

this blanks dvd deliver superb quality . i will keep buying them until my projects are completed.

I've praised these discs in the past, both with their earlier, silver label form and with the newer orange nightmare label side. It seems that praise was premature. In the latest batch I received, 5 of the first 10 discs I used were coasters; all suffering from the same obvious defect on the writable side. The mfg. of these discs in India must be using blind quality control inspectors, or none at all. Obviously, the only really attractive feature of these Kodak discs is low price. With a 50% dud rate, they suddenly become the most expensive double layer media extant! Unless quality improves remarkably in the remaining discs, this will be my last Kodak order.

I tried 2 of these things and they both errored out, I then put one of my old RYDATA's in and it worked flawlessly!

Burned 100 DVDs and no bad disks so the quality of the disks must be pretty good.
