I like this compact design. I tested the unit with up to 16GB cards. In addition to filling my need for a new reader, I will use this with Secure Digital Cards rather than buy more USB thumb drives. The Secure Digital Card has been my favorite storage medium since 2003 when I bought my first MP3 player with a SD expansion slot (by RCA). I use SD cards in 2 cameras, an HD camcorder, a GPS, and 2 MP3 players.

So far, I am really pleased with the purchase of the memory card reader. My computer at work does not have a slot for a memory card, so it works great to be able to view pictures from my card.

My order was shipped to me promptly. I have only had chance to use it three times and so far it works great. I love the USB port extender cord that comes with it!! It allows me to have my mouse and my Kingston Card Reader plugged in at the same time, as my USB ports on my laptop are situated one above the other. I would definitely recommend one of these to a friend!!

This is my third SDHC reader that I have purchased and this is
the best of the lot. Heavier duty than the others and that old saying "You get what you pay for" is really true in these items.
Easy to use and easy to hook up to computer as it recognized
it immediately.

Unit worked as advertised, easy hookup, although plugging in the SD card would be easier with markings indicating the correct orientation of the card.

Most of my old card readers couldn't handle SDHC cards so I needed to replace them. This is a nice small reader that has a feature not often found in readers. It can natively support both micro and regular SD cards without an adapter. Sliding covers make it safe to put in your pocket and will totally cover an inserted SD card.
