The item was 1/2 empty when received, and leaked. The printer is telling me that the ink in the cartridge is running low two days after I inserted it.

I have had the most problems with these cart. If your not careful when you take off the bottom cap ink can go all over. Just didn't get consistent printing. Not sure if they lasted as long as they should.

I bought cheap and it's costing me double

I bought this ink cartridge and I figured I was in trouble when the wording on the package was spelled incorrectly. Apparently I purchased a Balck ink cartridge. Anyway, I still had ink in my old cartridges and when I replaced it with the new my printer would not print. I pulled out the catridge and the spongy tip was dry. I did my best to unclog it and got it “inking” again, but now the chip indicates the cartridge is spent and my printer will not print unless I replace it. It has been very frustrating. I should have sent it all back.

I have a Canon MX870 and it seems Canon has made the new models smarter in recognizing non-Canon cartridges. I keep the printer off until I need to print and then it will let me use the non-Canon cartridge. This is cumbersome, but the price on these cartridges is such a break from the inflated brand cartridges.

The quality of ink seems usable , time will tell if a picture will keep the same initial quality and for how long. For day by day usage the price is good and if the ink destroys the printer - I also have an Epson that is using compatible ink for a year now without issues - I will buy a cheap new one. They need to wake-up and make the originals cheaper the replacements are good enough for the price to not buy originals. Supermediastore never disappointed me, the delivery is through USPS and sucks - if you are not home you need to drive to get your package and I pay for parking !!! so yes other than delivery everything is good experience.

I've said it once before and I'll say it again.
I highly recommend Super Media Store. It has an excellent selection of quality products at a very affordable price. Plus you have a choice of oem products or generic should you so desire. I am satisfied with the quality of this cartridge so far. I received the three cartridges within 3-5 days of ordering. However the packaging was flimsy (bubble wrap envelope) for a product that contained a liquid ink. One of the three cartridges had ink leaking within it's sealed package.
