I have been using these cartridges in my Brother MFC-6490CW for over a year. Have had no problems. The printer can print up to 11 x 17 ledger size. We use it daily for almost all our family printing, pictures, letters, coupons, etc. Between the price of the ink and the quality of the printer, we are free to use it as we want and need printing. No need to hold back or conserve because the ink is out of site in cost! Don't take my word for it, try a set.

I have ordered these cartridges before and have been very pleased with them, especially at the price. However, the new shipping methods, whereas FedEx drops the package at my local post office for them to deliver, does not please me at all. How are we to inspect the package before accepting delivery? Had it been anything but ink cartridges I would have been very upset. The package itself was crumpled and torn, as well as some of the individual cartridge boxes. I really like supermedia store for their prices and selection, but this will make me think twice before ordering from them again.

The ink cartridge does not look the same. But do not let that scare you. It fits my brother printer/fax perfectly. I have only use the black so far. The black ink is not as dark and vivid as the original. It prints more like a gray. But hey, for the price it will do!

I just received my order, it was delivered fast. So far I have used the yellow and cyan and the colors are spot on for the original item I copy. No smearing, true colors.

My expectation for the compatible inject cartridge for the Magenta wont have to be as high because the Brother Magenta ink cartridge color is way off from the original item I copied.

Prompt delivery, item fits but looks different than the original(seemingly smaller capacity), and the price was great.
Prior to ordering I was concerened that these cartridges did not have a life expectancy rating which other online sites do list for their products,in this case projected pages per cartridge and oz of ink, so I called supermedia and they assused me that these cartridges would last as long as original brother cartridges and that they would begin listing cartridge life in the on-line catalog. I have just loaded the first cartridge and time will be the ultimate test of quality.

for the price you just can't beat this deal. free shipping over 25 dollars which to get the best deal you end up purchasing at least 2 packs of this product which ends up what you would be spending for one at the store. I was a little concerned when I received these cartridges. They didn't look exactly the same as the original. I used some after market cartridges for my other printer and while they worked, the printer didn't recognize the ink level. No problem with these cartridges! The printer immediately recognized the cartridge, ink levels and printed perfectly on the first page of print. Best price on the net. Highly recommend

I have read a lot of reviews on OEM Brother compatible ink cartridges, and was scared to buy these types of products because most people said the product doesn't work or their printer didn't want to except the ink cartridge.
BUT no need to listen to any of them. I bought it and was 100% satisfied with the ink.

I do have to admit Brother printers are very picky. Cool running to everyone.
