I have had spotty success with aftermarket cartridges before and this experience continues that. I am attracted, naturally, to the better pricing on off-brand replacements, but often regret going cheap and losing effectiveness.
I work from home a good portion of the time, and having to internmittently coax the printer to recognize a cartridge that worked just a few minutes ago is not a good use of my time.
I keep a spare set of cartridges but when I have to swap one out prematurely, that changes the equation.
Note to self: Keep a set of name brand cartridges in reserve, just for protection.

Cartridge is just as good as HP version and is priced very reasonably.
