Some dudds

I have purchased the HP and the Phillips brand discs. The HP CDs seem to have more "dudd discs", that is discs that will not write when placed in the drive. Physically, the discs look fine, but for whatever reason, they will not write. I have about a 2 out of 50 discs failure with HP and about 1 out of 100 for the Phillips brand. Other than that, there are not other problems.

I use several brands to create mp3 discs and CD-R audio discs, always using simple but effective lightscribe labelling software. The HP brand discs are very reliable for use on computers and standalone disc recorders. The resulting discs have been consistently satisfactory for both original recordings and copies. A very excellent product at reasonable prices.

The shipment was received 1 day before the estimated delivery, GREAT service. The first disk however, had something wrong with it, and would not run LightScribe. All the other disks I have used so far have worked well. So, not quite a top rating, but very good! No other problems, I will buy them again from the SuperMediaStore!

HP consistently delivers quality Lightscribe CD-R media. I know that I can always count on these discs to record and to accept the lightscribe data even when used in mass duplicators.

If you have ever experienced issues with other lightscribe discs, check out the HP discs.

I have had a Lightscribe DVD burner for 3 years, and have only now discovered what Lightscribe is. So sad for me, because this is some cool tech, and these discs have shown me how to use it.

If you have been spending lots of time and money on CD/DVD labels, you will want to give this product a look. The only drawback of Lightscribe is the lack of color.

This media records good as CD-R, but I couldn't get the Lightscribe to work, this could be my drive, as I only have the one drive to try it out on and this is the second type of Lightscribe CD-Rs I have tried it on without success. I gave it four stars on quality and overall due to this, but it may deserve five stars, as it does record as well as any CD-R media I have used.
