Printer rejected the cartridge

My Officejet 6310 worked for about a day after putting this cartridge in, but now repeatedly says either re-insert the cartridge or replace it. This happens from time to time with refurbished ink cartidges I find. I just hate paying the ridiculous prices for new OEM ink... oh well.. the frustrations of inkjet printers.
