I've burned over 200 of these FTI dual layer dvd, purchased from SuperMedia, and have not had any problems with them. They've made no coasters and I'm getting good picture quality with no glitches.

This product appears to have been manufactured with a high quality standard. The recordings are very crisp and clear. It can also handle the speed of the new SATA burners, which is a plus timewise. A dependable disk.

I tried another brand you had and none of them worked. I thought buying the larger stack would be more cost effective. I went back to the original shiny silver and will stick with that brand even tho they come in smaller stacks. Thanks tons

For disposable projects (data or video) FTI FalconMedia 8x DL provides an acceptable alternative to Verbatim's 2.4x DL made in Singapore because it's less expensive and comparable in quality to Verbatim's 2.4x DL made in India.

Verbatims are too expensive, this media does the same job. I did some research online and some people said that these are about the same quality as verbs. I decided to take the jump and ordered a few, very happy with my choice, these work just fine with my purposes.

Ignore this PAUL character

Ive used Verbatim DL's for years to back up Xbox 360 games among other things with very few coasters, BUT Ive also burned over 50 games/other with FTI with the exact same ratio of coaster to good burn (very few coasters). So either this PAUL fellow is a Verbatim rep or he's a total incompetent when it comes to making backups.

Either way, FTI are a fine replacement for Verbatim if you don't mind the plain shiny look AND they're far less expensive. Buy with confidence.

Was buying Ritek DL's, but lately been having major problems will ALL DL Disks from that manufacturer. Read about FalconMedia on CDFreaks, decided to give a try instead. What can u lose. Nothing, excellent disk, will keep buying these. Great value for money.....
