I needed to reset the chip in order for the cartage to be recognized by the R300 printer. This has happened more than a few times.

Although the ink supply is less than in an OEM cartridge, the price is still better than buying Epson's inks per page printed. I do wish there was the same amount of ink in the remanufactured cartridges for obvious reasons.
