I reordered these cases using the same information from my last order "CSC25PK-STSL(R1)" . You substituted the brand Linkyo with the number "AC 001 2821" in place of the previous order number.
the Rim locking mechanism is significantly "less positive" than my previous shipment.
They appear to be physically the same other than the edge lock is very sloppy. The hub lock appears to be ok. Higher price than previous order.

I usually use my dvd albums for dvd's and the paper sleeves sometimes so wanted to try these out to help prevent scratching. I like them because they are very thin and don't take up much space when stacked. They are clear, so viewing the disk is very good. I'm not sure how long they would last after numerous opening and closing of the case because the plastic hinge is very thin, but I don't open and close them all that much. We'll see. For the price, they should do me just fine for what I need them for.

There's not much to dislike about this kind of disk protection when they're delivered quickly and inexpensively from SuperMediaStore. The only reason i didn't give the quality rating 5 of 5 is that the "living" hinges on these will not stand up to frequent use (but then, I don't think they're expected to). I've had a couple of the hinges from a previous order break--but even then, they still snap together to protect the disk. Really good deal overall, though.

I had purchased these oncebefore, but on this shipment, each case had a dimple in both the top and bottom of the clamshell. I emailed Supermedia and got back to me within 48 hrs, emailing me a return, pre-paid RMA number to ship the cases back. Just shipped it back so, we will see what I get in return. Overall, the store has been good with past shipments and product. It looks like they strive for repeat business and that's a good thing.

If you need to preserve your discs for many decades; or you intend on opening and closing the cases daily, then these are NOT for you. If you're looking for a good, cost effective alternative to jewel cases, then they ARE, as long as the price is right! At the 22.99 (with free shipping) that I paid, they are far better than the paper envelopes I've been using for years. They are just a tiny bit narrower than slim jewel cases, and take up less space than traditional, square cases. However, if you're really rough on your stuff, this may not be the best solution for you - they are not quite as strong as their counterparts.

The clam shell cases splayed out allowing easy infiltration of dust onto the CDs/DVDs. This product is not fit for the intended use, i.e., clean storage of media.

I use these to send DVD's to my clients. They usually work fine with the occasional one that wont latch correctly - not a bigie at all. I also have tried the higher end version of these and didnt see a major difference in quality, so save some money and get these lower cost ones and save a few bucks.

After a brief call to customer service, was told that if for any reason I was not pleased with the purchase, they would issue a RMA number and provide a full refund. I was pleased with the product and service.

Very handy because they take up very little space. The flat hinged edge keeps them from rolling when set on edge. They are a little tough to open, but that is better than the ones that keep popping open when you don't want them to.
