Good Case For Home Use
By Eugene on 06/24/2013
I was looking for something to keep my growing collection of DVDR-burned classic films in, instead of a messy pile of paper wrappers. This case has some nice features, a relatively low price-point, and is reasonably well-made. On sale, it's a bargain.
The case is not real metal, but looks like it. The silver or black models should go with any decor. It comes with 255 numbered 2-disc sleeves, which sit like hanging-files in 3 rows inside the case. There are latches to keep it securely closed, and even a rudimentary key to prevent casual or accidental opening. Handles on either side make carrying (and stacking) easy.
I took another reviewer's suggestion and downloaded the EMDB disc organization program, and it's some of the best freeware I've ever seen! Rather than keeping all the discs alphabetized, I use the EMDB numbering system, and look up titles as needed. It's easy to make an occasional printout of the movie list, in alphabetical (or any) order, from EMDB, to keep with the storage case. I strongly recommend the EMDB program.
I can't give this case 5 stars because it's not metal, which would offer superior protection, but otherwise it is an excellent home storage solution.
