Review of 4 Pack LINKYO® 510 Disc Capacity Black Aluminum-Like Hard Plastic CD DVD Storage Case

At their best, these have been very good storage boxes in the past. But the quality has been slipping badly (both the boxes and the sleeves), though I'm trying once again. We've bought lots of these cases, and one from a recent order wasn't opened until after 30 days had passed. The case fell apart (pulled apart at the seams, exposing the wood) as soon as I unwrapped it. Despite the number I've purchased, the Supermediastore rep on the phone was completely uninterested. 30 days had passed and despite the obvious defects, no return was possible. In more recent boxes, the DVD sleeves are often broken (DVDs fall through unsealed plastic; I "repair" them with Scotch tape). I am frustrated enough at this failing quality and lack service that I'm ordering my DVDs most of the time from other sources, and advising others to do so as well. What's happened to this once great company?

Saves an amazing amount of room when storing DVD/Blu-Ray Media. Unit is study and doesn't feel cheap. Recommended

Haven't filled yet, but looks sturdy for my purposes. Just storage, not traveling with. Pleased with delivery and condition.

Over the years I have purchased several of these storage cases for my ever-growing DVD collection. They are a sturdy, yet economical way to keep your DVD's organized.

Ordered two of these two replace a few of my caselogic cd wallets. It's cheaper per disc for storage and the number system makes it easy to find something. I made my own spreadsheet to keep track of titles I stored. Budget construction, but it's sturdy. You'll find imperfections, but, you'll most likely ignore them because they get the job done. Mine didn't hold 510. The max was something around 490 discs. It really depends on how compact you want it, but 490 seemed to be it for me. Be careful selecting capacity when buying these. I ordered some 600 capacity cases later on and man they're heavy when full. 510 will give you the best of storage and portability if needed.

The case is moderately sturdy.
Not something you want to take on the road a lot.

The inside rails and felt are good quality.
The CD/DVD inserts are really thin but once hung,
they keep in place.

I really like these cases! (I bought 2) I have over 1000 movies on DVD and wanted a better way to store them than in albums. The only thing I would change is the numbering system and give people the option to order sequential numbers. (I manually changed the numbers in the second case)
These cases are very sturdy and the price was very reasonable. I have been looking for this type of storage for more than a year, but due to price found it prohibitive.
I would recommend these to anyone with a large collection of discs to store.!

As a collector of games and gaming hardware I have been looking for a good storage solution for my disc based games for quite a while. The standard CD wallet type organizer was either too small or too awkward to be of much use so I started researching alternatives online. This is what I found.

This 510 disc hard case is a great deal for anyone looking to get organized. The look and feel are both very nice and the overall build quality is solid and less flimsy than expected. The black color is well applied and does not feel as though it will rub off easily.
The channels that hold the disc sleeves are metal and firmly attached. The sleeves themselves (and you get 255 of them in 3 packages) are of a good quality and include a label on each one with space to write and a number indicator. There is also an index sheet for each ot the three rows of disc holders, but they are too small to be of any real use. I made a quick table in open office and listed my games that way, printed a hard copy, and placed it behind the rails on the lid section.
Speaking of thew rails on the lid section, my only complaint stems from them. In theory they should prevent the disc sleeves from moving when the lid is closed. In reality they dont offer much. I solved this problem by picking up a roll of Sponge rubber door and window weather stripping and applying it to the bars so that there is a soft area that holds all the sleeves in place when the lid is closed.

All in all a great product that I would recommend to anyone looking for a hard case disc storage system.
