Hey, they're not Tyveks, but they are fine for everyday use and protection. While I may not store my most important discs in them (and there's no real reason I wouldn't - I just like to "baby" the good stuff!), these sleeves are perfectly acceptable for carrying discs around, trading, or distributing data. I wanted to replace the slim plastic covers I used because they were expensive. I was compiling music and movie discs for friends and family. I had brought several packs of 50 & 100 paper covers from national electronic chain stores. I came across this site after searching and decide to give them a try. The shipment arrived in a timely manner and the quality of the contents were above expectations. My first order was such a large one I don't think I will have to order this item anytime soon. After receiving my order and seeing the quality of their product I will be ordering SDHC cards from here. Stay tuned for that review.

When creating and sending home videos of family events and interesting subjects, these envelopes are the way to go. They protect the disks, and the labels I print on the disks show through the clear fronts. I can also use them to protect media file backups in various storage containers, allowing me not to use large and less convenient media wallets. With the folder view of the content printed on the labels, I can see the disk content without even removing the disk from the envelope. Moving disks in and out of sleeves can cause damage, or smudging that creates the need for cleaning, which adds further risk of damage to the fragile media.

These 85 gram sleeves use noticeably smoother paper than other sleeves, reducing scratches on the CD/DVD. They were even better than SuperMediaStore's "100 gram automated packaging grade sleeves".

When you need paper sleeves nothing else will do. These are lightweight, plastic lined and have a convenient paper tab on the back to hold the flap closed. Great bulk price and super-fast delivery. I would rather have had money off the DVDs instead of these paper sleeves. I don't use them as all DVDs go into polypropalene cases or plastic cases. I like these paper sleeves. I recently purchased Memorex sleeves from Walmart and the cellophane windows reacted with my Maxell DVD's and caused some sort of discoloration on the disc. I did not have the same problem with the SuperMedia paper sleeves.

When I purchased these, they were on a promotion for $1.49 for 100. I couldn’t find anything to come even close to matching that price!
They come with flaps pressed open in a sealed plastic bag. I like that the flaps are open, opposed to closed, as it makes it much easier to slip the CD into the sleeve, especially when making a lot of CD’s at once, like I do quite often.
As for the sealed plastic bag they come in, I would prefer to have them come in a box, for added protection in storage at my end.
I placed my order on a Thursday evening, and received it on that Saturday – 1.5 days later!

These sleeves are identical to Memorex sleeves available at Staples, Target and WalMart, with one minor difference: they are far less expensive, a real bargain. However, they share the same flaw as the Memorex. The window is made of a shiny material. We would prefer a translucent window similar to a glassene envelope in order to display the contents better. For the price, we can live with them.

These sleeves are a little thinner that some, but they seem to be more than adequate. Each has a large clear acetate window on the front, which allows you to see the whole CD/DVD label. They also have the tab on the back in which to put the fold-over top. They arrived packaged in six 100-pack retail-display plastic bags.

At the $12.99 sale price, which included free shipping, that made these cost just over 2 cents each - I had been looking for inexpensive CD/DVD sleeves for a while, and I don't think you'll find a better deal anywhere.

I've purchased what I've thought to be the same product elsewhere, but these seemed to be better quality. It was easy to cut oneself with the others, the paper seemed to be of a higher grade on these. Will continue to purchase these, love getting a deal when ordering with DVD's.

These Paper Sleeves work well for storing your discs and
you can fit 2 discs in each sleeve. While these may not be as thick feeling as the the 100 gram paper, I am not
worried about them tearing. These can really be a fantastic bargain when you catch them on Sale!

Great DVD sleeves for the price

They do come with the top flap opened up, but there is a nice crease to fold them at quite easily.
On the plus side, this makes it MUCH easier to put in newly written DVD's(or CD's).

The only downside seems to be that they are a few cm/mm's taller than the ones I buy from Wally World. But they want ~$5/100.
I bought these at $20/1000 with free shipping!

Sooo - umm.. Yeah. I can deal with them being a tad taller than need be! ;)

For those wondering, both these AND the ones from Wally World can, in fact, fit at least 2 DVD's with no problems. I haven't tried 3 yet, though..

I'd ABSOLUTELY buy these again!
