Had been storing my DVD collection in 14mm cases. Running out of room on shelves, so I got 300 of these. Nice case and I doubled my shelf space. These cases are suitable for home use, I would not recommend them for bussiness use. Overall, I am very pleased with the product, and the service.

Great price, fast delivery. The product is as good as a 20 cent DVD case can be. My only issue is the plastic covering on the dvd case will rip easily. Everything else is just dandy.

If you want a nice slim line case for your cds or dvds, these are great and at a very good price. The only con I have is that the last order of 100 had about 10 cases that were cracked and unuable. May have occurred in shipping. The order before of 100 cases was fine.

These are GREAT cheap cases. The plastic on the front is a little thin but for the price you can't beat them. There super thin (which is great for storage) and the clips on the inside are great for putting in business cards and other paper. ONLY HOLDS ONE DISC, but the securing the disc works great. I ordered 200 and don't regret it at all. I will be reordering these!

The clear plastic that holds the inserts is the thinnest I have ever used. Not sure how well they will hold up. I was concerned just placing the inserts in that I would tear them.

Despite the concern, they all worked out fine but hopefully the will hold-up.

these cases are too thin and the plastic mixture is way too brittle (probably too much recycled plastic in the mix),
about 25% of the cases were broken when the box was opened and these are so cheaply made I will be lucky if the cases can be opened more than 2 or 3 times without breaking

I am very pleased with these slim, black DVD cases. They are the recycled plastic, but no serious odor and not flimsy. They are easy to open and snap closed (and stay closed). The DVD stays in case, even if you shake it up and down (while case is open and upside down). The DVD is not hard to remove or put back in case either. I will order again from SuperMediaStore when I need more of these cases. The free shipping is what sold me, love that.

very good price, however, some cases were damaged
that were packed in the middle of the boxes. It
averaged about 10 cases per box. It obviously did not
occur during shipping because of the perfect condition
of the box and the location of the damaged item.
Return policy is a hassle to recoup on the 31 cases
that were damaged. I ended up tossing them and taking
the loss.

Super Media has one of the better 7mm DVD media storage cases out on the market. I have purchased different brands from other suppliers and have come back to Super Media. I wrote this review for the containers with the stock number AC 001 3019:

I purchased the stock number AC 001 0612, in January of 2010. These newer containers, stock number AC 001 3019, are identical, except that the interior surfaces have a flat, not gloss finish, which is not a big deal. They cost about $1 less, per hundred, than the 0612’s.
They are just about twice the cost of the AC 001 2789 containers, but are worth the price. I bought two hundred of the 2789’s, but wish I hadn’t.
These cheaper containers are not really finished, as the very sharp edges left over from the molding process have not even been trimmed off! How tacky is that? These cheaper containers are a safety hazard and should not even be sold. I could never give them to a customer.
The time required to manually trim them negates any savings. If it was worth the shipping costs to return them, I would. I will probably trim them, or, more likely, donate them to someone who has more spare time than I do.

Ordered 200 $29.98 and free ship. No cheap saran wrap outer cover and no stinky recycled plastic. The hub holds the disc well. Packed 100 in a box two boxes in another box with peanuts, no shipping damage at all.

I've ordered these before, as a substitute for the awesome yet pricey Verbatim Trim Cases. I was surprised at how good they were...so I ordered them again. This time I got a completely different product...stinky recycled plastic, with a saran-wrap outer cover. I have seen other reviews here about the inconsistency in quality of this product. It's true. On a positive note, they were really cheap.

I purchase these cases about 3 times a year, 200 at a time. Honestly, the quality varies quite a bit. Last year i had an issue with some of the clear covers tearing while placing the printed inserts and cracking of the black plastic at the spine and corners. The last batch i received was quite good; notably stiffer and no cracking or tearing.
This latest batch, i could tell when i opened the first one . . . a weak batch.
Still, it's okay. Just wish the quality was more consistently good.
By the way, invariably, they don't close well . . . not terrible, just not well.

I was able to reduce the shlef space by over 50% by replacing my 14mm cases with these 7mm. I even could put 1,2 and 3 dvd sets, with the paper inserts in them, tight fit, but works good. I put the 5 set ones in the old 14mm cases. Outside paper inserts need to be trimmed with a razor blade and straight edge to fit. Now I can still keep all my dvd's and have lots of room for more, I live in a tiny travel trailer.

I've purchased several cases of these slimline DVD cases. They work well at maximizing shelf space and hold the disc securely. The hinge is a little flimsy but I've never had a problem with them. Don't know how they'd hold up under heavy usage but for just storing your DVD's and organizing your video library they can't be beat. On sale they are a good buy.

I don't consider these case the highest quality, but I would buy again as they serve my purposes..a reasonable priced product suitable for storing my home produced DVDs in.

BAD MATERIAL

I recently purchased 200 (2 boxes of 100 each) of these slim cases. The delivery was prompt and the price seemed to be a value.

I have used just under 20 of these cases so far and have discarded 3 for differing defects. One had broken locking tabs, one split seam and one cracked along the back cover.

All these defects appear to be the result of the original manufacturer using poor raw materials that resulted in a brittle product or they formed the cases at too high a temperature.

I am now concerned that the cases I have used will fail with very little use.

These cases are nice and thin, saving lots of room. I did have to find software that would print a regular DVD box picture as one with a 7mm spine. This I did and it works great! It's called "UnderCoverXP". Great software and great cases.

I made a mistake. Showed have remembered to order the "full size", thicker ones. On many of them the plastic will tear/break upon opening. GET THE FULL SIZE ONES. This is not to disparage seller...it is just the plastic is very thin.

I've purchased the 7mm slim dvd cases for over a year now about every 2 months and the last 2 boxes of 200 count in each box i've noticed that when i open the dvd case they have been breaking on either end due to one of the ends staying stuck so it cracks. The quality of the cases compared to the quality of cases in the past seems different due to the fact that I still have cases with dvds in them and can compare them. Recent quality seems cheaper then the quality of the cases in the past.

Have purchased these slim cases on a number of times. I have converted my entire collection into them. I now have so much more room. I don't know why the company's do not sell them in these cases. My only problem is now I have cases of larger cases that I do not know what to do with.

As with other cases purchased here, a few in the box had cracks as well with this order. And these slim cases are so cost effective, less than $.20 each with shipping.
The outside clear wrap is good quality and the button to press to release the disk works fine. Only the two plastic tabs to hold the case closed is a bit weak. I broke one already. However, if you have a project that does not require the larger width standard size and top quality functionality, these cases will be just fine. I would buy again for certain future projects, especially for ones that will not be used constantly or need to impress an important customer as I don't think they would hold up to constant use.

Pros:Cases are of the lower end quality you would expect at this price. Cons: Extra care is needed when opening the cases as they are very fragile along the edges. If you need a more durable cases for everyday wear and tear,you might be better off with the slighty more costly clear cases,which are a little thicker along the edges.
