I thought using discarded DVDs glued to pistol targets would be helpful in training for bullseye pistol competition. The idea is to help focus the shooter's attention on the center of the target only, with the goal being to put a bullet through the spindle hole; "nuthin' but net", so to speak. Seeing as the bullet from a .45 is just a little smaller than that opening is quite a challenging shot......one handed......from 50 feet away. I had only a few discarded Taiyo Yuden DVD+Rs hanging around, and haven't yet attained perfection, But the target pictured here, shot number 9 of 11 tries, is pretty close. I'm thinking this might also be fun and challenging with a target rifle at 100 yards.........stay tuned.
