My 3 year-old son is a "total freaking rock star from Mars", so I made him his own platinum record using an old CD, as well as a cover for his debut album: "Permanent Time-Out".

I was racking my brain for an original idea as I paced the isles of a local craft store. (TMI alert) I kept getting distracted by the need to use the bathroom. I loathe using public restrooms, but I had no choice in the matter. As I hurried to the back of the store, I passed a specialty frames section. Out of the corner of my eye, I noticed a CD / album cover frame. While "taking care of business", I had my epiphany, which was to create what you see in these pics.

This was a really fun and inexpensive project, and I can't wait to make more for other people.
