This is Bambi. He is a Dobermann rescue I took in almost a year ago. He was starving, sick, abused and we were his 5th home in his short 16 months of life. He weighed 52 pounds and was skin and bones. He is now 74 pounds of bounding joy, happiness and unconditional love. I changed his name to Bambi as even using his old name would scare him and besides, he is as sweet, loving and adorable as a little Bambi deer!

He has now come out of his fears, loves being loved and can't wait to go play in the dog park with all his friends - from the smallest to the biggest!

Please first consider adopting or rescuing a dog or cat before buying a pet. They need love, too, and can make some of the best pets. Just look at Bambi and what he can do!
