Several old discs have been repurposed into a decorative, free-spinning mobile and quickly becomes the centerpiece above my computer. The ceiling fan's gentle currents keep it in silent, perpetual motion, its flat orbs constantly dancing and pirouetting above my head while I explore the world's knowledge. Once the first rays of the rising sun shine through the window panes and glint off the mobile's silvery platters they instantly transform the room into a brilliant kaleidoscope of reflections, flashes and rainbow patterns. This new expression of their activity becomes a reminder that my evening at the computer has once again slipped from my fingers much quicker than I had anticipated. It is now time to sleep the computer, as well as myself, while most of the world is just awakening.
