Search Marketing Analyst

Job Description

The Search Marketing Analyst will play a critical role within the SuperMediaStore Acquisition Marketing team. S/he will be responsible for day-to-day management of PPC campaigns, (SCE) Shopping Comparison Engines, Affiliate Network programs and merchant shopping sites with a primary focus of driving maximum search coverage while producing desired ROI.  Duties include PPC campaign creation, strategy, analysis, ad copy optimization and bid management across all 3 major engines, as well as overseeing the marketing ROI for partner shopping sites, affiliate networks and SCE’s.


Responsibilities

  • Front-line responsibility for online search campaigns that drive customer acquisition. The partners will include, but are not limited to Google, Yahoo, and Bing.
  • Manage our online search partners day-to-day to ensure effective program execution, adherence to strategic direction and timely program measurement.
  • Measure Search performance. Create timely and accurate performance reports.
  • Provide accurate forecasts for Search spending and customer acquisition performance.
  • Create, implement, track, analyze, and optimize PPC campaigns to drive maximum search coverage while producing desired ROI
  • Actively seek out PPC growth opportunities, adjust programs appropriately, and test and analyze keywords, copy and landing pages to increase ROI
  • Work with Marketing and Product Management teams to achieve individual and group goals.
  • Develop marketing plans working with management and product team members to achieve revenue goals, customer acquisition and retention goals as well as delivering maximum ROI within each channel.
  • Stay abreast SEM best practices and industry research.
  • Manage all aspects of partner shopping sites including Amazon and Ebay as well as future partner programs.
  • Manage all aspects of SCE’s including both internal and external partner communications and analysis.
  • Manage affiliate accounts, relationships and communications both internally and externally.
